Hello Thanks for all the replies. What are some good names for amps? I was looking on ebay and there were alot of amps. Thanks for your help!!!!!!

Oh, well so long as we're throwing out names that should NOT be used as an amp name, I would have to say that 'DUD' would not fly off the shelf. Nor would 'SUX', 'FART' or 'Heckler & Crotch'. And as far as real names goes, I have to say that I never thought naming your amp 'Xplode' was a particularly brilliant move by Sony. I think that was when it became apparent to me that they had become too big for their britches.

I don't believe I have purchased a Sony product since right around that time now that I think about it.

i have krell amps, and love them. you didn't say what your price range was. you can get a killer amp from krell for 1500-2000$. I have a KAV 250a and a kav250a/3. both amps are 250W at 8ohms and 500W at 4 ohms per channel.. These are some of the best value on the used market, in my opinion.

What application are you using it in? 2ch or multi ch. Movies, music, or both?
