Ouch. I don't look forward to an impossible final boss. (Maybe that's why I haven't gotten married yet.) I just don't have the reflexes and accuracy I used to have for shooting games. I'm happy the Xbox 360 controller is supported without having to use a control mapping program. Several of the PC games I've played recently have had that, which is always appreciated.

Did you buy the DLC, too?

Borderlands is a great game up to the final boss... all I'm gonna say is what many others out on the web have said. The ending is lame.

BTW I found that black screen issue with Borderlands was due to dual monitors and graphics driver. For me at least, when it would happen to me apon first launch, if I'd disable my 2nd monitor before launching it then it would run fine. Once I get in and set the resolution and stuff I wouldnt see the issue after that even with the 2nd monitor enabled.

Hmm, I was running two displays before, but not lately. It's not like I had a second monitor to disable, but maybe it still sensed traces through magic.

I only played to the first save point, but it seems like it should be fun enough. Nice art and sense of scale, but I don't really like the character I'm playing. Maybe if I'd played the first two.

A couple of guys at work keep telling me to get Final Fantasy XIII, but I'm not sure it's really my cup of tea. Maybe I'll borrow it from one of them after they've played it enough.

I'll probably play a lot more Just Cause 2 this weekend.

I read that Kratos is not very likable as a character throughout most of this new game. I mean, I don't know how much of a sympathetic character he is to begin with. It probably builds on the first two games (which were very fun, by the way).

Yeah, he's pretty much a mindless, vengeful killer in part 3.

Skate 3 just was released a few days ago. I am looking forward to playing that game. I really like this series.

Still hooked on Dragon Age: Origins. I only get to play it the weekends that I am not at home (this weekend being one), so I'm only up to level 14 on my main character. I like taking my time with games like this, and doing all the side quests I can.

It looks like they have released an expansion pack for it now too (Dragon Age: Awakenings), so I'll have that to look forward to when I complete this game.

Playing Resident Evil 5 on professional as well as Mercenaries mode. Very good game!
