So I just pulled the trigger and bought a single pair of QS8 surround sound speakers. While I wait for them to arrive, I would like to get your thoughts on where I should place them.

My home theater is located in a room 16'2" wide and 19'8" long. The ceiling is vaulted and roughly 11' high.

Below are some pictures of my room. My usual seating area is on the right besides the window.

Hi Vauktu,

Email me a sketch of your room with dimensions and seating arrangement, and I will send it back with a suggestion where to locate your Axiom speakers.

My email address is jc@axiomaudio.com

I would pull the couches forward about a foot or so and place the QS8s between the rear wall and the window and then directly across from that position on the other side of the couches. I have my QS8s in a similar position and it works great for me.
