Hey guys I don't know if some thing like this is already done. If it is sorry, but if not. Then I am a genius every year I want to play fantasy football. But every year no one lets me to much money for a rookie. They play like 300 dollars a team, and I can not stand to play anything with no stakes. So my idea is 10 of us start are own league. winner gets 500 dollars Axiom store credit.

Now the way it would work is first we would have to make sure there is 10 of us. Then I will call Axiom and see if they are cool with holding the pot till someone wins. Once axiom gets your money, I will send you the league invite.

Everything will be handled by the NFL site except for who you want to draft. And who you want in every week, you control that, and of course axiom would have the 500 dollars.

Now I understand fantasy football but have never played the league is open to everyone but please no hustlers.

Now please let me know what you guys think, I choose 50 because it seemed like the smallest you could go with. And still have a huge prize. If you guys want it for less, fine by me. I just want to play with something at stake, and heck if there is enough of us. We could do multiple leagues. 25 50 and 100 and I am sure axiom would like it. Because the money is all being spent with them.

Heck we could do a VP180 league, or something similar. So please let me know what you think. And if my idea is bust please invite me to your league

I'm afraid fantasy football would consume the little life I have left. Too many competing interests for me to get involved.

I enjoyed a couple of years of rotisserie league basketball in the early 90s, winning once (Pippen's stats were awesome), but it was my major hobby. Now I've got family, a tougher job, and cheezburgers to pursue on teh interwebs.

I have never played before so I don't know what I am talking about. But I would imagine after the draft its 5 10 minutes a week. And your done for the week I could be wrong I just can't imagine it taking more than that

I think you are dramatically underestimating the potential time-suck.

I like fantasy football. I usually play in 1-2 leagues a year (just for fun), and would welcome the opportunity to participate with other Axiomites.

The ESPN site offers a very good free FF league application. I'd suggest using that.

I'm not sure who is hustling who here ;\)

I don't have a clinical problem with gambling or anything, but I really don't need that incentive. If Axiom wants to take the time and effort to accept and track entrance fees and everyone else wants to play for merchandise, I guess that's okay with me. Or we could all pitch in and the winner gets to specify the charity that the pot goes to. Or maybe Ian and Co. have a favorite charity that we could help.

I'd like to participate as long as the buy-in isn't too steep, but I'd be willing to do it just for fun, too.

Does Fantasy Football also have Fantasy Cheerleaders?

That's why it takes more than 10 minutes a week.

Wow, I'm lucky if I get 10 minutes a month.
