I have high gloss cherry, because, well I admit it, I am a whore for something "custom."

My are the old black oak, because everything I own is black. But with this V3 talk, I'm thinking about starting to replace what I have, and finish my setup with high gloss piano black. Then they'll match my PS3, my TV, my receiver, my DVD player, and my equipment stand.

Vermont Maple. And HG Burled Walnut. And Mansfield Beech. And Black Oak.

I've got M22's in Boston Cherry, on-wall VP100 and M22's in Black Oak, and sub-woofer in Cinnamon Beech.

If I could re-do it, I'd get them all in Cinnamon Beech. It's a fairly neutral color (colour) that would go well with just about anything. It's a little more brown and a little less red than the on-line color (colour) sample shows.

That surprises me - I had understood that it was one of the most popular finishes, and it's always seemed like the colour "most likely to work" wherever you put it.

If I were buying my speakers again from scratch I probably would have gone with Mansfield Beech... at least until High Gloss Cherry was introduced ;\)

I've got mansfield beech all around except the center which is black oak. My dad has M3's in rosewood satin that are just stunning. If I lived here in Hawaii, I think I'd have a full set of rosewood speakers just to fit the rest of the wood theme here in the islands.

I’m with Chris everything in my room is black. And for the record a ninja suit works better. ;\)

Unlike Chris my next finish upgrade is going to be telescope flocking added to the edges and sides of the speakers that are picking up and reflecting light from the screen. I will turn this room into a black hole.
