Curios as to what wood and stain it is in the photos of the m80's shown on the main product page to the right of where it says "floorstanding speakers":

My guess is Cherry Cinnamon in satin finish. The HT further to the right I think is the standard vinyl Boston Cherry.

Looks like HG Cherry or Warm Cherrywood (both vinyl) to me.

You betcha. Almost all of the pics look that way. I imagine that'll change as they produce more of them and are able to photograph them.

Yep. Even Dave's Raven Manor has been updated to V3's

Yeah, me too. The first time I saw the edited photo I had to do a doubletake. Now when I have people over wanting an audition from the forums they are going to complain that my speakers don't match the "advertised picture". wink

After that last post I see that even my thumbnail will need to be photoshopped, or even better if I can one day replace the vp150 with the vp180. laugh

I can dream anyway.

Wow, I never noticed that! You are going to have to ask axiom to send you a set of v3 woofers and crossovers so its not false advertising!

After taking a closer look, it looks like they photoshopped the grill post holes out of the ep500's and m80's, so better ask for all new v3 speakers smile.

The vp150 still has the the grill post holes so you will only be eligible for the upgrade kit here.

Now you are talkin'!

If they are willing to do all that, I think I'd be able to justify the purchase of a new vp180 to match. laugh
