Have any of you guys tested the EP400? I was wondering if the difference to the EP350 is only modest or if it has some noticeable difference.

I had the EP400 in my hands for a short time. The EP400 is a great little sub for very small rooms or for music only, IMO. The small driver really doesn't move enough air to give you a great HT experience but will move just the right amount of air for all but the deepest bass with music.

Do you think the EP-400 would add anything with the M60s or 80s? I may be in a position to get a stereo pair of M60s or M80s in the not too distant future as my wife rearranges our living room. I want to add a sub into the mix but the WAF for the living room means it must be smallish. So the EP-400 came to mind, but not sure if it would add much. I actually suggested the EP500 for upstairs (same as in our HT), that didn't go over very well! But hey, at least she's considering adding some good floor standers! Take the wins where you can get them, right?

I think the EP400 would add to the M60 and adds a little to the M80s, I could tell when the 400 was on or off with the M80s, it definitely added the lowest frequencies and sounded great, but with it's cost I would be hard pressed to buy one for either, especially the M80s, YMMV.

Ok, good to know - thanks Jay. I may consider the M80's with no sub, or perhaps M22 with sub - just depends on what configuration works after the living room is improved to v3 furniture arrangement ..:: runs and ducks ::..
