You're not related to Jed Clampett by any chance, are you?

Just grew up on a poor farm in Missouri countryside. When I was born, was when an indoor bathroom went in. We had a barn, a couple of old sheds and a one story old farm house. Lots of cats, and a couple of old dogs I was told to stay away from. My nearest neighbor was about 1/4 mile away, but I only got to see them about 2 or 3 times a year. Mostly, I just played with my cats.

Jed Clampett would be a good name for a cat.

How about that - my wife grew up in very rural Missouri - Van Buren, to be exact.

That is rural! Looks like out in the middle of no-where.

Me, about 5-7 miles east of Lawson, MO. Although I was about 40 miles away from Kansas City, I never seen it until I was about 7 years old, then only once, until I was much older. I couldn't contain my excitement and parents probably decided to never to that again.

Fate: Can't say as I believe in it, but sometimes things just seem almost spooky.

I just got a call from my boss who asked if I would attend a CSE conference on the 14th, 15th and 16th in guess where of all places??? Deerhurst Ontario. I didn't put in the exact location of the factory but Googlemaps tells me the driving distance from the Deerhurst Resort where the conference is to Dwight in general, is a whopping 22 minutes!

I'm going to see if they will let me take an earlier flight and then I'll pay for the extra days of lodging myself. I wasn't planning on making it, but this is just too much of an odd coincidence to not take advantage of it.

Is there a final date Axiom needs to have a commitment to attend?
I should have this confirmed by the end of the week.

With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

AWESOME, Murph! I hope it can work out!

A newsletter that went out today asked for a 9/7 RSVP....
