For those who have not yet come across this. The page of Axiom's recent past .
I wish i could find some of those early models.

I own a pair of AX3's and they do not look like the pictures here.

The drivers are opposite of shown, and the sub is front mounted. The AX5 had a rear mounted sub, and I suspect the images shown reflect that. The mid and tweeter were in separate cabinets from the main cabinet that housed the crossover and sub.

Any pictures to share BBIBH?
I can host them online if you send me a PM.
I would love to see them.

That's weird.

I have AX500a sub and it looks nothing like the picture. It's almost the height of the M40, with two down-firing ports.

...it's also an eyesore, even when paired with other Axiom speakers. Thank goodness for small boxes/cylinders.

Do you remember what you paid for your older axioms? I was just curious what the prices were like then.

Haven't the foggiest. It was back in '98, and I have enough problems remembering my wife's birthday.

Really? It's pretty easy to remember my wife's birthday. Whichever morning she wakes up angry and says "I can't believe you forgot!" -- the day before was her birthday.
