Hi Fredk,

For those staying at Lumina, breakfast is available both Saturday and Sunday mornings.

For those staying at Blue Spruce and Spring Lake, Spring Lake has offered to serve breakfast for Saturday and Sunday morning as well.

The tee off time on Friday is set for 1:00pm

See you soon!

FYI - for those who have verizon wireless, the short-term Canadian plan isn't too bad. It's $.69 per minute with no dreaded roaming charges. I was advised by Verizon customer service I need to *228 then option 2 to activate the Canadian cell system.

Ian, I am interested in attending all 3 round table talks.

10:30 - distortion types and myths
Noon - microphones, brains, and off axis response (I'll do fine on the first and the last. The middle topic might be a problem for me crazy)
1:30 - subwoofer measurements

May I bring a pad of paper and a pen to take notes?

I think we who are attending have you beat in this category.

Ian, would you make clear your wishes regarding cameras and cell phone photographs? I'm sure all will be happy to comply.

Jack, as a proud Canadian, I think he means a designated driver to get you and your vehicle back to your hotel.

I will admit to never having heard that term either...so maybe it is a local saying LOL

Hey BB. .

Yep, new to me as well. I grew up in Southern Ontario and I've never heard it until now.

Cheers,
Alan

Yes, "Red Nose" is a non-profit organization that accompanies drunk drivers using their own vehicules. They are financed in part with donations at the time of the retrieval. Their operations varies greatly depending on location and time of year.

Well, since I can't drink, for medical reasons, I guess my nose won't be red and I can drive one car back to the Blue Spruce. However, it won't be my car. I don't want a bunch of drunk axiomites ralphing on my poor old dilapidated Toyota. grin

Jack, you can drive "The Blaze of Glory" (my van) smile . There's quite a few of us staying at Blue Spruce, and from this street view via Google maps, it looks like a nice spot!

Woohooo!!! Almost fun time.

Ian. Those of us arriving tonight had planned to meet at the Swiss Chalet in Huntsville at around 6:00 pm. Not sure we can redirect at this point, but thanks for the offer.

I will be heading out very shortly.
