Chess, you were - I fixed it now.

SMTP trouble at our newsletter service - everyone should be getting them now.

Hey, under category header "spoiled rotten" (insert charming grin here) has anyone else listened to the soundtrack for Mr. Deeds on their Epic 80s? Oh, man, I'm listening to the Dave Matthews Band in DPLII - soul-stirring. Seriously.

Hmm, i made the Axiom newsletter twice but the auditioning list not even once.
Just what the heck is goin on over there Amie?
Perhaps you need more staff.
I might have an opening sometime this summer, right between the May conference and June baby.

This whole referral thing for gift certificates is rather appealing since i'm considering that 6th QS8 channel to round out the system.
My brother is considering buying.
One friend will be buying (QS8s or 4s sometime in the next couple of months) and now his boss is upgrading (hence the receiver poll earlier today). Based on a conversation this morning, he is considering a full 4 speaker FO purchase.

Maybe i'm in the wrong profession. Perhaps it is time to become a full time offline Axiom promoter.

Haven't seen it yet. However, with all the virus crap flying around, it could be awhile.

No got, Amie. Noticed that last night there was practically no activity on the board. Has the virus been somehow affecting the board?

I found this to be a highly interesting part of the newsletter. What do all you YPAO and MCACC devotees have to say to this?

"(Editorial note: Although I didn't receive a demo of the AVR-3805, it's worth noting that doing accurate measurements of listening-room frequency response aberrations is extremely complex, and correcting for room response errors using 8 bands of parametric digital EQ is essentially impossible. At worst, such digital auto-correction schemes have the potential of making good speakers sound bad by "correcting" the frequency response of an otherwise neutral, linear well-designed speaker. Users may mistakenly interpret small level increases introduced by the auto-EQ system as sounding "better," a common result of uncontrolled listening. I would advise enthusiasts to take these auto-EQ systems with a liberal dose of salt, and not base purchasing decisions on this particular feature.)"

It should be in the FAQ from the Axiom homepage. You'd have to scroll down a screen or two to find the archive link.

Hi Amie,
as of this date and time, I haven't received the January newsletter either. I did get the December one, so I know I signed up. Should I re-sign up for this?

p.s. the M60's & QS8's sound awesome!!

I wonder if it's getting caught in mail filters? I know one newsletter got slaughtered because it used the word "DVD" four times! Can the people who didn't get it tell me if they use any filtering software? And also if you'd like me to resend to you?

Mine gets sent to a hotmail account. I haven't had any problems receiving it in the past. Please try it again. If they have any filters on, they don't work too well. I get tons of spam there. (It's somewhat designed for that for me though, since it the address I use when I have to fill out anything online).

I haven't received the January issue either.
Last one I got was the December issue on 12/18.

I'd appreciate it if you could resend it.
