The Pioneer VSX-D912K requires speakers with 8-16 Ohm resistance, but the VP-150 has 6 Ohm. Can I still drive it with the Pioneer? If I do can this damage the Pioneer?
Thanks,
Gerhard

Hi nagyg,

Your Pioneer won't have any difficulty driving a 6-ohm load like the VP150. Any receiver or amplifer that drives 8-ohm loads will drive 6-0hm loads.

It is only 4-ohm loads that cause problems with many A/V receivers.
