Say if I wanted to sell my Axioms, but no longer have the boxes and packing material...any suggestions on where to get large boxes for speakers? Do you have FedEx/UPS package them for you?

One option would be to contact Axiom, they might be able to send you what you need for a small fee.

Mary: U-Haul "stores" usually sell a box that's called a "wardrobe" box. It's about 20 x 20 x 42", if I remember.

+1 Randy's suggestion.

Regarding boxes from electronics etc.- It really bugs me when companies make the box a necessity of returning the product for whatever reason. Who keeps the boxes for anything, and who has the space.....not me.

I happen to still have my 3808 box, but my Axiom boxes are long gone.

Just as Randy suggested, I would call Axiom and have them ship out boxes and I would also enquire about the styrofoam packaging material they have and see if that comes with it.

Those boxes can't be "cheap"

I'd expect Axiom to provide a different "deal" on the boxes and packing material if you were selling your speakers through the Axiom Auctions page rather than just getting the boxes so that you could sell/ship them some other way.

Styrofoam packing does come with the boxes. Axiom probably will charge you for the boxes, it isn't much.

I did this 4 years ago when I moved.

Funny, now that I actually paid for the boxes, I don't thow them out.

For electonics it seems like if you want to sell the item, you can get a few more bucks for it if you have the original box. I think there is a perception that if you keep the box, you take better care of the item. seems silly to me though.

I've kept all my boxes, if one packages them carefully, you would be supprised that they all fit inside of each other with the EP600 box being the biggest in my case. another option is to collapse them flat and they take up little room up against a basement wall or whatever.
