I'm trying to get an older AX 120 sub-woofer back and running. Unfortunately some of the clips have gone missing.

Is there anywhere i can get replacement clips? Can they be replaced separately from the whole input unit? Does axiom have any replacement units for customers?

I'll attach some pics of the sub :

Rui, I'm not familiar with the AX120. You show pictures of the front, but not the back. Is there not a low level input that can be fed by the receiver sub out so that the high level inputs on the front aren't needed? In any case, to see if the sub amp even works now, connect just the right channel input spring clips, which appear to be okay.

Enjoy the music, not the equipment.

I would guess that spring clip panels are available at Partsexpress here. (Check page two of the results also)

Edit: Maybe this one in particular?

If you can't find one the exact size, you could always "plug" the existing terminal plate space with a block of wood and mount the new plate over a larger block of wood.

It looks like you've already unscrewed the terminal plate to check it out....

^^ maybe I'll call them tomorrow. I'm guessing they don't have parts for speakers from 2 decades ago, but i guess it's worth a try.

No, this sub only has these speaker inputs.

Thanks Mark. Your specific link seems to be a nearly identical part. I hope shipping doesn't jack up the price.

You would be surprised at what can be available from OEM if you call them up, not just relating to speakers/subs either, virtually anything.

I just gave them a call. They don't have any frown

I'll have to track one down online or at radioshack.

The part that Mark linked to at Parts Express, looks identical. Maybe call PE and ask them for the exact dimensions of the actual part to confirm.

Adrian beat me to it, give Parts Express a call. Even if the dimensions are not exact, as long as it isn't smaller a little trimming of the speaker housing to the correct size and that new one would fit.
