Han, I think you'd be better off mounting The tv to the wall and then using the axiom vp180 stands or something similar as it looks like the omnimount stand referenced will place the vp180 nearly on the floor.

Omnimount does make some great stands. I've had the omnimount av rack in the link below for several years now and it is super sturdy.

I still think the Bell'O stand I linked above would be a great choice.

I think a VP180 would look great sitting on the top shelf .

It looks like the top shelf is low enough to still fit a TV above it, the only question I have is if you can raise a 60-65" TV up high enough so that it clears the vp180 when viewing without having to tilt your neck up to watch.

I ordered the G304 as well! Actually, I tried the VP180 *on* the floor (tilted slightly up) when I was testing it before the move. It sounded just fine so I'm not too concerned that it's too close to the ground. I didn't want to invest in a really nice stand since I'll upgrade the TV in about two years. I would have purchased the A100, but reading about all the 'blue rain' problems made me hold off.

If you tried it out and are pleased with the results then I am sure it will be fine.

Yeah, the G304 is an awesome AV rack in my opinion. The only downside is that it takes a little work and a lot of zip ties to hide cables and speaker wire behind the thin back vertical post (but with enough work you can hide them completely). It's probably (almost) sturdy enough for me to stand on the top shelf!

The only problem is that I got it in silver to match my TV stand and TV that I currently own. When I get around to upgrading TV and TV stand I think I'm going to go black (not many silver TVs these days anyway). I'm thinking I can just take off the glass shelves and paint the metal with some high quality metal spray paint or something along those lines to convert it to black. Whatever I use will have to be pretty scratch resistant though.

Good to hear good reviews about the AV rack. My middle name is "wire ties" so I'm good there! I just got done rewiring my new condo with CAT3 (for phone), CAT6E and Beldon Duobond RG6 cables all over the house. Everything is patched up so I'm done with pulling cables for a while.

I have a VP180 on the bottom shelf of a Bell'O stand PVS-4218HG (around $300): http://www.amazon.com/BellO-PVS-4218HG-Panel-Audio-System/dp/B000GU7FDY (and Sears carried this stand, also, when I bought it). It fits, with two minor reservations: (1) the VP180 is a few pounds above Bell'Os specification for the bottom shelf maximum weight, (2) I have the VP180 displaced slightly to the left on the shelf, to accommodate the banana plugs which otherwise would hit the stand support at the back. Also, my 58" flat panel TV is an inch or so too wide for the stand.
