... then I can upgrade the m22's to m80's and the m22's will become width speakers. I'd also want to upgrade the vp150 to a vp180 at that point. I can't do it now since my TV and equipment stand isn't large enough to support that large speaker.
That is my upgrade path, also. I've replaced my Pioneer vsx-1020 with an Onkyo 3008, which can handle width speakers, and next week when my m80s arrive, I'll demote my m22s to width speakers. A couple of weeks ago, I replaced my TV stand with one which, I hope, can hold a VP180, that is a Bell'O 50 in. stand, so I expect soon to replace my VP150 with a VP180.
