Sorel's a very good brand. Baffin is a popular brand for winter boots here also.

White Boots used to make a great water proof swamp boot. I just went to their web sight and did not see it though... Too bad. They make some great pacs. All their boots are custom made to fit.

I wouldn't be so sure I would buy Sorels again, they were bought out many years ago and now do not have the same quality, albeit they still appear to be one of the better snow boots available but not like they used to be.

I think some of them already stay out of water----for days at a time.

I loooooveee being outside in yucky weather.

DSW is one of my wife's favorite places. I like it too. But I wouldn't be caught dead shooting clay pidgeons in any of there boots. However, a nice set of patent leather pumps might look nice.
