I would to include a link in a post.

When one chooses the "create a link" button in the toolbar, and types in the url and the page name, it appears in the text box, but w/o being underlined so that it can be clicked on. What am I doing incorreectly?

Warning: Your answer may be completely meaningless to me and I may need to ask a couple more ?'s.

Just type it out like this, without the spaces.

Your Text Here[ /url]

If it is a website just copy/paste the link in your post. Place a in front of the address and a at the end. (note, take out the space I just place it there so it would not assume my sentence was a link. Pictures are the same, however, the tag is and take away the spaces.

Click on the square that has the link and globe then paste the link you copied in the area that appears. Click OK then another area will appear and you put whatever text there that you deem appropriate.

Thanks all. Hope it's worth it. And yes, Chris, you are almost correct. You're all probably going to be very sorry for giving me any more options to make my posts even "cringier."
Here goes.

So that's how you put your own name for the link.... Always wondered how to do that, but not enough to bother asking or looking. So I reckon I'm #1 Bob. I always wanted to be first at something. Thanks.
