To sidetrack off the healthy kick, I must admit I LOVE pressed sandwiches in a panini press. A local restaurant got me addicted to those. That is a new toy I want in the kitchen. I would probably pop the cherry with a Cuban sandwich.

How about the occasional slow cooker beef instead of chicken, with some onions & peppers cooked with the beef then used as toppings on the sandwich ? Bridgman, I may give this a try, it's just that I really limit my red meat intake.
The only reasonable argument for owning a gun is to protect yourself from the police.
