Recommend watching the Book of Eli on bluray. Pretty Decent movie with some awesome surround effects. Very good surround demo material IMO.

I agree, watched it about 3 months ago upstairs. The 350v3 was pumping some great lows, and the m22's...well you all know how good they are..

An old movie on DVD that I haven't watched for a while is Return to OZ. Not since I've had a sub-woofer anyway. Near the beginning where Dorothy is running away from the Doctor's mansion and she falls into the river, a pipe organ is playing some very low notes. I was surprised by all of the bass on this disc.

Yeah Randy, LFE was very good in addition to the surround effects. My ep500 and qs8s got a good workout.

Walter Murch directed this movie, and if you're not familiar with him, he's far better known as film editor and sound designer. He basically invented surround sound when he did the sound design on Apocalypse Now, so it's no surprise a movie he made would contain a wide ranging soundtrack.

If you are familiar with him, then everything I said above is redundant. smile
