No need to rationalize, the M80s do have a tad bit more lower range to them which might sound/feel like more power. Did that help?

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I like the M80s, feels like they have a bit more 'range' and 'power'. but then that could be after the fact rationalization If it is stereo listening, then there is no doubt the M80s have better bass.
