If you dive, make sure you go to Cozumel.

If you snorkel, make sure you hit the tide pool at Akumal. There's a quaint little outdoor restaurant in Akumal I like as well. Hard to miss, seeing how small the town is.

I like the Playa area. Have a great time.

If it makes you feel any better Randy I've always been jealous of the PorterPlex!

Thanks for all the kind words and suggestions all. Two of our close friends just booked the same trip so now it should be twice the fun!

That's one of my favorite stretches of beach in Mexico. My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Riu Yucatan Resort up the beach.
