I can say for certain that it doesn't matter what your screen is calibrated to, as long as it is reasonably close and you have color deficient sight, you won't do well.

I have been diagnosed with Deutan colorblindness using the Farnsworth test. Here is a quick Farnsworth test online

I redid the test with reading glasses and brightened up my monitor....got a 4 this time.

I thought that was very interesting, Chris. While I was reluctant to spend the requisite time on it, I got an 8. I'm using a dusty, $100 monitor in a brightly lit room. I'm honestly surprised I did that well.

I got a 4... What I wonder though is whether it would work better on a CRT than my LCD screen. Ever notice how colors shift a little or aren't as vibrant on an LCD? Either way, that is my excuse. :-P
