Has anyone listened to this by any chance? I just got it yesterday, and I was SHOCKED. The sound is so well done. It's truly ear candy to listen to.

I assume you are talking about the Stan Getz, Charlie Byrd disk. I do like this very much indeed ! It's an excellent quality CD in my opinion. You might also enjoy the Getz/Gilberto CD also in Verve Records....This last one also has an SACD version which has been reviewed recently on audiorevolution.com .

Yeap the Getz/Bird! I haven't heard the Getz/Gilberto one though.

Try Stan Getz "Big Band Bossanova," also from Verve. The Getz/Gilberto album (their first, I think the title is just "Getz/Gilberto") is the most famous one, probably because it initiated the Latin Jazz vogue of its time, but Big Band Bossanova is my personal favorite. Has some of the same songs and some new ones, played (duh) by a big jazz band, and the recording quality is outstanding. I'll check out that Jazz Samba album -- sounds like a similarly cool release.
