YES-- you read it right i have a Behringer 4000 watt amp connected to my M-22 bookshelf speakers and they sound absolutely awsome. But im not pushing 4000 watts into them though. More like 650 watts rms at 8 ohms. But even that is a lot. Im using a Behringer EP4000 Europower amp. Its made for pro-use., but it works fine for me. My music starts out thru my Monster reference power center, Then on to my custom built Super Computer, its a Thermaltake Level10-GT chasis, with my Gigabyte GA-890fAX-UD5 Motherboard, overclocked at 4.2 MHZ. Powered by a liquid cooled AMD Phenom-II Black Edition 6-core processor.with 16gb of ram, and a Gigabyte graphics card powered by a AMD Radeon HD-6850 GPU.My music is Flac Lossless played thru Foobar-2000. Then on to a Nuforce Icon HDP DAC and headphone amp, then on to a Art Cleanbox-Pro stereo balanced xlr converter, Then to my Behringer Ultragain-Pro tube pre-amp/ parametric eq. Then to my amp, then finally thru my Axiom M-22 speakers. Words cannot fully express how well this set-up sounds thanks Axiom.

Nice stuff. I'm glad you're enjoying your gear, but don't you think you can overclock to over 4.2 MHz?

M22s are great but with this kind of gear, it looks like you have the coins to get better, I mean all of this for $500 speakers!
Anyway, I'm glad you love it, in the end that's what matters.

From my very brief research, that's a typical OC with that chip, and a good percentage increase. But, then again, it is liquid cooled.... Is IntelBurnTest compatible with AMD processors (I know the prefix denotes Intel, but ya never know)? It's regarded by many as the ultimate CPU stress tester. It racked up the temps when I tested my Q6600 3.2 GHZ overclock, but it passed.

Well my old Sansui from 1973 with only 28W is much better than my onkyo 3310. LOL So I guess that there is no need to 4000 Watt for me.

GOD is in Yarmouth, Maine this week, because some very nice people needed salvation from mortal design. SMOKEMONSTER: Welcome! Glad you're loving your Axioms. Your set-up makes me wanna run right out and buy a 1973 Vega and replace the engine with a Dodge V-10. Maybe I'll just bring my M60's down to Pilgrim Nuclear Power plant and see what happens. Oh, and you may require special permission to have a screen name all in caps. :-0

Welcome SMOKEMONSTER!
i think he could get 4000 Watts only on a 240 volt line and a Variac to hold that voltage steady. on a standard 15 Amp. line, continuous wattage is limited to less than 1800 Watts. in the end, it's like my pro amp; it's about 700 W/ch but so far i've used only about 120 Watts/ch. which is plenty. but it's always a good thing to have some spare, on condition one is careful with the gas pedal.
