I saw Thor, too, on Tuesday. I agree that Asgard looked pretty. I want to eat a piece of rainbow bridge.

I finished season 2 of Dollhouse. Overall, I liked the show, but the last episode could have been stronger. Maybe I'll watch it again sometime and see if it grows on me.

Also watched The Cove, the documentary about the dolphin slaughter in Taiji, Japan. Messed up stuff, as you'd expect.

Tonight I'm catching up on Conan a bit. I've been without my computer this week because I ruined the HDMI to mini-HDMI adapter I had. It still makes me mad that my video card has a mini-HDMI port instead of normal HDMI port. I could have been up-and-running sooner, but the only adapter I could find locally was too wide considering where the port is on the card.

Yeah, I opted for the hotrodded 560 Ti, which has a mini-HDMI instead of the full one because of the larger cooler. I did notice that it would take a very specific adapter to fix next to an in-use DVI port.

Anyway, for the last three days I've watched a Twilight Zone (I bought the first three seasons on Blu-ray when Amazon just had a special) episode before bed. I used to get that treat as a kid from time to time, and always enjoyed the dreams they inspired. So far I've recognized the first three, I'm hoping I come across one I've not seen before sometime soon.

My project for next month is to watch the Vudu offered $0.99 rental on each of the 30 days. I'm sure I'll see a rather interesting collection of movies for less than $30.

Starting to re-watch Samurai Champloo. I think I'll enjoy it more the second time, even though it won me over by the end of the first time through.

I also watched about half of Road to Perdition earlier. The first big gunfire and the train going by sounded pretty great. I hadn't watched the Blu-ray since I got it. For some reason I don't have the attention span for movies I used to have, yet I can watch episode after episode of certain TV shows. I think part of it is it's hard to know if you're going to like a movie a lot of time, whereas if it's a show you've already seen episodes of, you know what to expect and can settle in more easily.

Childrens Hospital

The episodes are too short, of course, but they fit a lot of great stuff into the 5 minutes. I'm only a few episodes in, so here's hoping it stays fresh. Terrific so far.

In June, I'm going to use the Vudu service and take advantage of the 99¢ that they offer each day. It doesn't matter if it is something I've seen before, or something I'd never watch. I'm going to video every single one.

I'll also rate each title, and report that on Twitter (@ClubNeon if you care). I tried out the service last night, with a full priced viewing of Chinatown. Somehow I had missed that movie all these years. I'm glad I fixed that. It is well deserved of all the praise heaped upon it. I think I'm going to watch the less well received sequel, The Two Jakes, soon too.

I'm almost caught up with Game of Thrones. Man, it's such a great show. I love Tyrian (The Imp). Here's only a small reason why. smile

I've been watching GoT with one of my friends, but she has a job where she has to be at work at 5 AM on Monday, so we can't watch it on Sunday nights. I'm about to tell her, "too bad," and watch the show without her.
