Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to run the speaker cable through the stand? I've had difficulty with the wire binding on the post as it passes through.

Any ideas?

Hello schmoe

Have you tried a wire coat hanger and some electrical tape?

Schmoe,

I had the same problem when running the 12-ga Home Depot wire through them. Just as I was beginning to think that I'd never get it (half hour or so?), the wire made it to the other hole and I pulled it through with needlenose pliers. Prior to "success", I had to re-try several times and make sure the wire was straight as possible so it could get through the section where the poles can be extended in the center. Since my wire was nearly the size of the hole, I couldn't fit anything else in there (fish tape, etc) to help move it along, but the coat hanger suggestion may be useful. This was more than a litte pain in the tail at the time, but all turned out great. I almost went back to get some 14-ga wire, but finally got the 12-ga through. Definitely can't fit the Acoustic Research 12-ga wire in the stands. Good Luck!
