Need some advice again. I know some of you have both subs (Sirquack). I purchased the M22s a few weeks ago for use in my living room. Love the speakers, but brought the EP500 up from the basement and love the difference with the sub. Since I am using these speakers mostly for stereo music and tv would the EP350 be enough? Just need a little more bass for the M22s. The 350 is about half the price of the 500 and would be a lot easier to spend the money on it for what I am using it for. Just wondering how much difference there would be between the two subs. Will still use the basement for movies where I have M80s, VP180, QS8s and the EP500.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

I have the EP350 upstairs in our living room. The room is probably 15 x 20ish with a vaulted ceiling that goes from 8ft on one side upto about 12ft on the other. It also has a large opening that leads into the kitchen, and another opening on the other wall that leads to the front entryway and bedroom hallway.

The 350 does a wonderful job matched up with my M22's and VP100. I have the Denon receiver on 0dB, and the volume gain on the back of the sub at about 1/2 way and it produces very nice powerful bass when called upon.

I have M22's and EP350 in a similar, but smaller, room and I'm completely satisfied with it. It fills in the lower end quite nicely. Room size approx. 12 x 17 with same vaulted ceiling as above and same openings into dining and hallway.

Thanks guys. My room is 14x20 with 8' ceilings. So looks like I will be purchasing the 350 in the near future.

Yea that is what I plan on doing. Sounds like I can't go wrong with the 350. If you remember from my other thread when I got the M22s I was having a problem with a pioneer receiver. I ordered an onkyo HT-RC180 from Accessories4less. It is more than I need for what I am using it for, but for 350.00 and free shipping it was a great deal. About the same power as the pioneer but no distortion. Something was definitely wrong with the pioneer.
The M22 sound really great and with a sub they are pretty impressive.

what type of warranty do they offer on refurbs? I am looking at a 1008 for a new install.

One year. They also have a 30 day money back. The receiver I got looks brand new. No marks anywhere. They do say there could be some cosmetic blemishes, but mine looks new. If you like Onkyo I think it is hard to beat there prices. I bought a 3007 at Best Buy over a year ago for 1800.00 and they have it for 849.00. I could have saved almost 1000.00. Have seen others on this forum recommend them.
Let us know if you get one. If you buy new they have 2 year warranty. But I think for the savings they are well worth it.
