I swear, sometimes I think Bob is actually one of my (and Peter's) old housemates. We could never tell when he was telling the truth, either. But he was a hell of a lot of fun.

Much appreciated. However, They aren't "rants."

Rants invlove espousing beliefs in "bombastic and extravagant speech," or "to scold vehmently."

I'll cop to the "bombastic," but rants are impassioned (for real). Mine are faked passion, meant to elicit equally fake "passionate" responses.

Thank god! For a second there I thought you had absorbed Cam's personality and had gone this forum's version of postal.

The only reasonable argument for owning a gun is to protect yourself from the police.

If the Borg ever invade earth I say we send them Bob to assimilate. They'll never know what hit 'em...

If I had one ounce of cute or cuddly in me, I would post, like, 5 smiley faces.

"If they ever come to destroy the earth
They'll have to go through you first
(Bet they won't be expecting that)
When they finally come to destroy the earth
They'll have to deal with you first
(and my money says they won't know about)
The thousand Fahrenheit hot metal lights behind your eyes

You're invincible!"

Always call the place you live a house. When you're old, everyone else will call it a home.

Good 'ol Jim. I was just thinking about his a couple weeks ago on our road trip when I saw an Amtrak train paralleling the highway for a while.

Perhaps ethnic or traditional music are better descriptions.
