GRRRR.
Came to the living room this morning and found my right m80 laying over on the corner of my ep500 thanks to my wonderful cat. I am so mad right now I don't even know where to begin. Trying to decide what to do now..... AHHHHHH! See photos below.............

David, that can be fixed. If you were closer, I'd do it for you. A furniture restorer could do it. It may not end up completely invisible, but it could be sooooo minimized that no one would ever notice it, 'cept you.

Also, cats can be fricasseed. Peruvian purple potatoes make a great side dish, I hear.

which do you love more, cat or M80?

a good place for a cat is free life on a farm, if you haven't thought of that.

We had a cat once in the early 80s, it sprayed on my sub (M&K) once. It went flying out the car window near an old farm house that had a chit load of them. No worries cat lovers, I slowed down LOL.

a suggestion that might prevent the cat from touching the speakers again;
when you see the cat interested in the speakers and he's coming near, play a sudden blast of 50Hz sound, like some dance music beat.
do that only when the cat goes near.
it should not take much time to be an effective deterrent.

After listening to my axioms I must say that I am not as angry about the damage. They still have the same calming ability as they did before the incident smile

Definitely a bummer and I will look into some type of furniture services to see if they can actually repair vinyl in some way.

I'm sure the farmers in your area are greatful for all those cats and dogs folks keep tossing out...

If you don't want a pet, find a home for it or have it put down.

If you don't want a pet, find a home for it or then have it yourself put down.

I made up with my cat but made it promise not to do it again or else...

Still hopeful it can be fixed (at least made to look better).
