Can there be a comparison between the two? I'm looking for music and sonic quality as well as HT application. This would be for a 3000 sq. ft room (15x20). Thanks all!

(There's no need to double post...)

In a room of adequate size, and 15 x 20 qualifies (as long as the speakers are on the 15' wall), the M80s are your best bet.

get the M80's - the M22's will have a hard time filling a room that size, especially in the lower end.

make sure if you get M80's your amp can handle a 4ohm load. some can't!
