Yeah, I did the same thing. Probably totally unnecessary, but it looks cool.

It's already been said but just adding another voice. Do not buy expensive audio cables. It's simple science that John's link can explain better than I. About the only mistake people make is using too thin cables on a long distance. Your 14g wires are more than sufficient. Spend the money on a bunch of new CDs or movies to enjoy.
My favorite conversation on this. [store clerk to a customer] You need these Monster cables, see how the center core is a tighter weave than the outside, this allows the electrons to travel faster so the faster high frequencies really shine through.
[Me] Ahem, Excuse me. Do you mean the electrons will travel faster than the speed of light? Because that's pretty near how fast they are already travelling....."
Great post!

Thanks guys.
I ended up buying some Canare 4S11 from blue jeans audio with interconnects. Pretty cheap and I really didn't wan't to do my own interconnects. Also did bi-bannanas on one end as it only added 6.00 to the cost of each cable. It was about 200.00 for about 50 feet total. Could have saved a bit doing my own interconnects, but I'm a lazy bastard. LOL. take out the "LOL" at the end and we'll believe you. ;-)

http://www.av-outlet.com/en-us/dept_453.htmlthese are the cables that i use for my M60's and vp-180. prior to this i was using some 300$ cables.... i think i like these better... for my Qs8's i use 12 gauge inwall rated cabling. All of my RCA and video cables are from this company also. Pretty good prices. Just adding information for future people with a similar question

Murph, what you fail to realized is that these sales guy are highly trained individuals, and only they know about the "new law of physics" that only applies to Monster cables.. it's actually a closely guarded secret......

I read that, since Monster has been losing their frivolous lawsuits lately, they are going to have to change 'their' name to Mobster.
