I just read about his passing earlier this evening, sad stuff ... "Life By The Drop" is a favorite of mine.

That is saddening to hear. I have always liked his stuff back to the Arc Angels - a disc my son turned me onto.

I was thinking I had an Arc Angels disc but it's actually Marc Benno and the Nightcrawlers ... Doyle Bramhall Sr played with a very young Stevie Ray Vaughan on that one.

Yea Brent, you 're probably thinking of Doyle Bramhall II ... he plays a lot with Eric Clapton nowadays and can been seen snuggling up with Sheryl Crow.
