Very nice setup and comfortable atmosphere. Set of Axioms, big clock, nice receiver, looks like a DVD Player lurking under the table and, oh yeah - a really big clock. Very nice.

WAIT A MINUTE!!!

It looks like a TDS (Television Deficit Syndrome) Alert needs to be issued!! Where is that really big TV that a movie guy really needs to appreciate true HT? TDS is why credit cards were invented.

Ya gotta have one. If you think Axiom has improved your audio, you should experience the improvement in video a big TV brings you!

Nice setup..Youve given me hope for a home theater setup, as my tv is the same size as yours!
One question: What speaker is that in the front right of the picture? Or is it not a speaker?

Ray, you've obviously not seen my setup. I've got over $5,000 in audio equipment, and a $300 JVC TV.

The image below is a bit outdated...I've added the Odyssey Stratos amp, and my Hsu has been moved to where those trophies are - but the TV is the same. Yes...I really want a new TV.

Good memory! Yep, that was me. Nope, I didn't get one. Now we're in the middle of purchasing a home, so it'll be put off again. (Though I guess that's a pretty worthy reason!)

If we end up getting the place we want, there'll be some major changes needed to my system to fit it in the room. The place we're renting has a huge livingroom, the place we want to buy is considerably smaller. (Though it does have a GREAT place for a big TV!)

Hey Spiff! Have you had any problems with the placement of your left M60? When I get mine, I will have a similar situation regarding distances from walls, and I have been fretting about it. Allay my worries, will ya? Thanks.

Nice audio stuff!!!!

Nope...I know it's not optimal, but as you can see, I don't have a lot of choice. It's about 12"+ from the back wall, but only a couple inches from the side wall.

The sound is still amazing!

Naw, just poking some good natured fun . I did it the opposite way Craig. I started with the 50" Sony LCD last year (along a receiver, DVD Player and HD SAT). This year, thanks to the lunatics on this forum, I did the speakers and subwoofer.

It all takes a while to pull it all together. The research, shopping and finding the right units is fun and really enhances the end result. However, once you get there and everything is set up you get to enjoy it that much more. For about 10 minutes. Then you begin to wonder what to replace in favor of something that has more power, capabilities or features. I am absolutely tickled with what I have now, but it took some time to get there. You guys will need a bit of patience, but it will all come together.

Thank you! I'm breathing easier now.
