I think it's time to stop feeling bad for their embarrassing loss in 85.

You are right, Ben. Actually, we've forgotten all about it, just like we can't remember who Billy Buckner is.

Is there anything more insufferable (less sufferable?) than a championship pitting Boston v. New York?

I think I'm going to boycott the whole thing and go officiate a swim meet instead.

Tom, I think that you still have a problem feeling left out when things exist in real (EST) time. Since Boston and NY live there, I can understand your lack of interest or enthusiasm.

Last week I saw a beautiful full moon. A Hawthornian blend of moon and diapanous cloud wisps. It was not a bright white moon. It was a dull white, recalling the color of a white-trash wife-beater T-shirt.

I looked at it for several minutes, taking it all in. Suddenly, I was overcome with a feeling of sadness that caught me by surprise. I realized that people like you, CV, and so many millions of others would not get to see it until hours after I was through with it.

I then realized that you even get sloppy thirds on daybreak. THAT clued me in to your anger about the Red Sox, Yankees, Pats, Giants, et al.

I don't know if there's a treatment for TZDD (Time Zone Displacement Disorder), but I'm gonna PM JP right now and ask if there's anything that can be done for you.

I don't really believe you guys are trying to help.

You're kind of like the support desk that closes at 2pm.

Bob, that there post was funny!

Tom, you need to learn more about the Pats. Don't hate them for their rabid fans.... love them for their ways: No trash talking of other teams, it's always "We", not "I" when talking about accomplishments, etc.....

Look, Tom! Ken suffered TZDD, too, but he had the inner strength to cure himself. See how much happier he's been since he put PST behind him?

Also notice how I no longer tease him about it.
That could be you, Tom. That could be you.

Bob, if you can convince him to move east, then you ought to convince him to trade cars with me.

If it doesn't work on him, try aiming at Michael Drew. Or HomeDad.
