Recall on 1st generation iPod Nano

Apple is recalling the iPod Nano (1st gen) due to a battery problem. Apparently the overheating "risk" happens later in its life as the battery is used and ages over time.

I thought that the die hard Apple users threw, I mean, recycled, their 1 generation old products for the newest one every year.

Just kidding...

Good to know. My kids both have iPods, although they are newer than 1st Gen.

Yup, they replaced mine w/ the latest gen. Not a bad return for my investment.

Yeah, I even looked on Craigslist and people had the same idea as I. (I already had an old one w/ pretty much a dead battery.) Buy a used 1st gen for $35 and return it for a new one. People on CL were asking for people to sell 'em.
