NPR had an interesting segment on Science Friday this past week titled "Why Vinyl Sounds Better Than CD, or Not" which you can listen to here: NPR Talk of the Nation

One of the experts they interviewed, Sean Olive, speaks briefly about the loudspeaker design research he has conducted in Canada at the NRC facilities. I believe these are the same ones used by Axiom. Anyway, both experts concluded that CD is the superior format. An interesting 25 minute discussion though.

Yep, Axiom, Paradigm, PSB etc. all used the NRC facilities in the early stages of their companies existence.
