Hey, Anybody have any experience with the new in cabinet 80's and 180? Just wondering if anyone has heard these speakers in this configuration.

Thanks!

I just installed in cabinet m80's over the weekend.

If you're doing in cabinet, why do you need the 180? The best set up is three identical speakers. It sounds like from your set up, you have or will have an acoustically transparent screen. If so, I highly, highly recommend 3 matching m80's. I have been toying around with this hobby for a decade, and I have never heard something inside someone's home as good as this system. Really it is beyond expectations. Voices are extremely realistic out of the 80 and hearing the center coming from directly behind the screen is simply amazing. I may sound like I'm gushing, but these axioms are awsome. I couldn't be happier with them. My entire setup consists of 3 80's for the fronts, 4 qs8's and an in cabinet ep 800.

Thanks for the reply, sounds like you have a killer system indeed. Unfortunately I am not running an acoustic transparent screen for my front projection set up, hence the 180 inquiry. Food for thought though, thank you again.

I'm probably installing in Cabinet m80 and Vp180 system. From the work I did on researching them, they sound pretty much the same as the standalone models. There's different reflections from the surrounding cabinet around them, but they sound fantastic.

Well I have this set up since about December. However I've not had a chance to hook it up yet. They are litterally sitting in the cab.

Work and travel has been that demanding. Hopefully at the end of April I will be able to wire it all up. Once I am done I will report back.

Everybody is impressed when they see them though!
