ever since i updated my Audio system, i've wondered "why is the AV room so warm after i've finished watching some movies, like WOTW" ?
i think i've found it.
in a lightning stroke of genius, i measured the AV room's wall temperature, before and after playing WOTW. what a surprise when i found out that the difference was a full 3°c warmer; in fact, a good 3.12°c average increase!
the only reason i see for this to happen is the walls flexing; and by doing so, they heat up because of friction at the molecular level within the wall structure.
sounds like good science, doesn't it? i just need someone to repeat the experiment in order to confirm it's validity.

Cool,
I'm one day late for this april fool :
It could be axiom that build a good amp to power your sub and dissipate that much heat in your room. Do you know they take care of customers at winter period ? When you pay for an axiom sub it's way more than for listening music. You should thanks them. Subs are in fact electric radiators. They own contracts with a radiator company :p
Look at computer graphic cards, it's same story :p

Really, JB? Molecular agitation from the walls bending? If you're gonna stretch the physical world that far for a theory, your thoughts would be better spent in alchemy or ghost hunting.

It's not just square, it's a freakin' cube-----and it's irrepairable. It couldn't be rectangularized with all the drywall in Chiner. (Ha! Remember when it was just "tea?")
