Yesterday was a bad carpentry day. No table saw = crappy outcome. I go to canadian tire site and they have a table saw on sale for 100 bux off. I just could not resist,so i grabbed the boss's truck and went and bought it. Set it up after work tonite, and for the money it works fantastic.Could not be happier. So no real point but i had to tell someone laugh

Wait, you built your VP160 cabinet w/o a table saw? But didn't that prove to you that you don't need one? I'm kidding, of course, every household should have one, but you were sure a determined little caveman if you did it w/o.

No, no, don't tell me if the truth is otherwise. Hey, it's just more content for your mythic retelling of it, 25 years from now. "Yup, all I had was a rusted backsaw with 17 teeth missing, a #1 flathead screwdriver, a pencil and some glue. Not bad, eh kids?!"

Canadian Tire quit being a tire store when I was a kid... last trip there, I think I walked out with a box of 12 gauge slugs, a micrometer, some steel wool and a 12 pack of paper towels.

So it's a Walmart competitor. Do its patrons also dress like nobody is watching?

Peter dances like nobody's watching. He also loves like his heart's never been broken.

So courageous.

Actually , Walmart ( your source for cheap plastic crap ) is not in the same league as CT. Up here we call it philipino tire, not a white guy in sight. No one wants to work for what they pay,and the owner is a douchebag. He sponsors philipino's and brings them here and they are more than happy to do the jobs us canucks wont do.

Oh yeah, i used the saw tonight, and it works great I dont know how the hell they can sell something like a table saw for 169.00 .

Of course you do. That saw was born on the same side of the Pacific as were the salespeople who sold it to you.
