 EP125 Subwoofer Crackling noise

Hey guys, I have an EP125 that is making some not so nice crackling noises. I've uploaded a video so you can hear what I mean.. This was running a Subwoofer test and the volume dial was at 1/4 on the sub. Crossover at 150 and Phase to 0. I took the woofer out and gave it a quick glance and couldn't see what was making the noise so I figured I would ask here before I give Axiom a call.. EP125 Subwoofer Crackle

does it happen under normal use. Yes, It happens during normal playback as well. I just used the Subwoofer test for the video as you can really hear the crackling then.

If it just started recently I would give Axiom a call at the 800 # at the top of the website they usually answer on Saturdays, good luck..

Had a bit more free time today So I completely removed the 8" Driver from the enclosure. When I shake it a bit I can hear something loose in there, sounds like its hitting the dust cap internally. Pretty sure this is what is vibrating in there causing the rattle. EP125 8" Driver noise

Axiom sent me a new driver and my EP125 is alive again! No more crackling sounds!
