I got 2 of the 5 new black M22's today that I need for my new living room system. The FMB (full metal bracket) that I received this time looks to be level without having to grind the teeth off of it. Maybe I just got a bad one the first time.

Been working too much on yard work last few days to work on living room. I'll have pics as soon as the room has been painted and drapes are up. Drapes are on back order and I won't have them for 2 to 3 weeks.

I accidentally knocked one of the new speakers off a table last night. It scuffed up the lower right front corner a little. Not too bad, but it's noticeable. I don't think it's fixable either. Perhaps sometime later I can order just the cabinet to replace it, if it bothers me.

I'm using the new speakers now as my main pair. They sound as wonderful, if not better, as the 3 year old pair of v2's.

The 2 living room walls that were painted "Clay Pot" are now painted with 2 coats of Kilz 2 primer for red paint. I'll let this dry for a week, then paint it Candy Apple Red next weekend. In real life, the color of these walls are much darker. The red will probably be skewed many shades lighter also. Once painted red, I'll have to try to find a photo shot that represents the true color.

OK, but I may be revealing something that might haunt me in years to come. 'Remember Murph, the guy who ___ the ___ ___.'

I was a mere canteen worker when the call came to step in.
The regular was a drunken lush but equally hilarious actor who added his own take on the character by giving Renfield a perverted crush on Dr. Seward, head of the Asylum. I knew a lot of the lines and some of his ad libbed stuff from watching what I could in between opening, break and closing. However, I would never get to see the sections when I had the canteen open. I was told to adlib the best I could which they assured me should be easy, since this was an insane character. If you messed up, it still worked.

I was getting a lot of laughs and beginning to feel rather confident when I tripped over the hidden, rolled up carpet from the living room scenes and landed smack on top of Dr. Seward's leg. My shoulder hit his leg and both arms were on either side. I knew immediately what it must look like to the audience, so I made a good/bad decision and went for it. I began dry humping the good Doctor's leg like a dog.

I have to say, the actor playing the doctor was a pro. After very nearly cracking (I heard muffled spitting noises), he shook me off and said something along the lines of "Renfield, I told you if you keep doing that I was going to lock you in the kennels."

I got my one and only standing ovation that night when I came out to greet the audience at closing. Usually only Dracula himself got those.

PS
The actor who played Dracula did so in traditional garb but fashioned his persona after the B&W film character, Nosferatu. He was the spookiest Dracula I have seen yet, live or on screen. I wish I could remember his name to see if he ever made it to big time. Probably not, but you never know.

The walls are painted red. I've got new air duct vent covers. I just had the closet door and base boards delivered. I'll be painting them white this weekend. Some curtains have been shipped, but not delivered.

It only took 2 coats of Behr paint to get a good cover for the red. It actually looked good after 1 coat, but there were spots that I wanted done again so 2 coats were good.

When the 2nd coat was partially dry, after about an hour or 2, what looked like warts started appearing on the wall. These were air bubbles that I popped with a fingernail, then smooshed them flat.

Wow, things are really coming along nicely. Pics soon please.

Air bubbles? That's weird. Might you have mixed the paint a bit to vigorously or been a little too quick with the roller? You didn't spill some Dr. Pepper into the paint did you? Seriously though, hopefully someone can tell us why that might happen.

Could also have been some contaminant on the wall, stopping the new paint adhering to it and causing it to bubble or lift.

Is this where Dr Pepper was murdered?
