My speakers should arrive tomorrow laugh . I'm very excited . I ordered a VP160 for the center and M22 as the left and right channel . I will order the QS8 in about 2 weeks or so. I also have a pair of mirage prestige nanosat speakers in rosewood that I will use for my front height speakers. The sub will be two HSU VTF-3 MK4 powered by onkyo 818. I also have 100 " diy screen for now ( wilson art laminate ) and a JVC RS40 projector.

Sounds very nice. I also have M22's for left right and a VP160 for center. I like the added depth that the VP160 adds for vocals. I hope you enjoy your setup as much as I enjoy mine.

Welcome! Sounds like an awesome home theater you're putting together - I know JC loves having the front height speakers in his home theater.

How easy was it to make the DIY screen?

Thank you guys. The screen was pretty easy to make. It has a 1.3 gain and it doesn't hot spot.it will do for now until I purchase the black diamond zero edge g3 2.7 gain screen. Here are some pics of my screen build. Its on facebook so don't know if you have to login to see it. Thanks again guys/ladies . Pics are here. https://m.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a....1qiBsm-qWPWBWOU

Yup, we have to be friends to see it - but we're always looking for new Facebook Friends smile

Ian, excellent choice of speakers, subs and receiver(on a point of terminology, note that the subs aren't "powered" by the Onkyo, of course).

While you're waiting for your QS8s, it'd be a good idea to temporarily position the Nanosats as side surrounds so that you can have movie and 2-channel music surround effects. Enjoy.

Enjoy the music, not the equipment.

They arrived today in excellent condition ( the outside ). No scratches or dents from shipping. Yes I know the VP160 deserves to placed on its official stand which i will order when i buy the QS8. The M22 are sitting on metal B&W stands from I used to have B&W 685. But M22 are tall so i will buy the stands that are recommended from axiom. You may also notice the triangle piece of wood in the left corner. I am making my own bass trap so I placed the stand according to how far the wood stood out.
