I'm not sure what you are referring too but I was recommending this individual to contact the company using phone or email regarding his inquiry instead of relying on the forum. Not the other way around.

OK. I think I understand the confusion. I was under the impression he was looking for an audition in Saudi Arabia but that's not the case?

well, finished my first audition about an hour ago and it went very well. scamp and his son were very impressed with the Axioms. they enjoyed a very active 7.1 "Hellboy II" and really loved the sounds that all of the Axioms I had were giving to faithfully reproduce the soundtrack. we listened to a variety of music to from CD's, SACD's and DVD-A sources. they had a lot to say about the speakers. I was very happy and proud to host this effort in the name of Axiom; I do hope to do this again, it was a lot of fun and i dare suspect I might have even made a friend! It's also good to put an actual face with a "screen name!" I think Scamp is very, very close to joining us here in the Axiom camp!

Oh yes, for those who wanted to know (FREDK)I bought Pizza for lunch and Scamp brought some very yummy cupcakes for dessert! a good time was had by all.

How well did the audition go? I was so wrapped up in the sound I totally forgot to have a cupcake. That's some serious sound!

I'd been on the fence about 5.1 vs 7.1, but this made it easy. The back channel really added to the film without hitting you over the head. The field was very even an enveloping. 7.1 is it for me.

We started with a CD of sample music we brought (iTunes lossless burned to CD), and then listed to the DVD-A. Wowser! What a difference. It made the CD sound muddy by comparison.

There is where you are wrong my friend. I am not all that close to joining the Axiom camp... I'm already in it. My order was placed as soon as we made it home. smile

3 - M22's for Left, Right, Center
4 - QS8's for Sides and rear's.
Plus I'll round things out with an SVS PC13-Ultra.

Thanks again Solarrdadd for pushing me over the edge!

Yeah, that should be an interesting process. The left wall is cinder block/Underground and the right wall is a 1/2 wall into another large room.

Yeah, no one told me either. And you didn't tell me you are almost Swedish. My wife is an expert at Swedish pastries. Next time we meet I will bring some.
