I just found out that one of my ports is loose. I can move it like about 1 or 2 millimeters out. Are they supposed to be glued on? Is there anyway I can make it tighter. Will it affect the sound in anyway?

best email someone in the service department if you don't get an Axiom reply.

i honeslty don't know what would happen if you had a marginally loose port like that.

cleankut,

Email Joe Vassallo, Axiom's service manager, at Joev@axiomaudio.com and tell him. I just checked two pairs of M80s at my place, and I can't move any of the ports.

I'd worry a bit that it might vibrate or resonate at some low frequencies; otherwise, it won't affect sound at all. But Joe will know. I haven't had anyone mention this problem to date.
