Wife and I logged 20 or so hours into coop diablo 3 on 360 over the last couple of weeks. Pretty fun game, but not sure that I am up to grinding through levels after beating it once

Wow. I wish my wife liked video games. The closest thing to Diablo I might experience with Sharon is her chasing me out of the kitchen with a cleaver like "The Butcher" demon.
With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

Ha! Yeah she didn't like it at first but started watching me play and then made her own character and she was hooked. She likes skyrim and zombies mode on call of duty a lot too . Other than that, she likes mario type games.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Pretty good so far. They knocked it out of the park with the look of the game, and the gameplay itself is a little different. You use both brothers simultaneously to work through the game, one's movement controlled on one thumbstick, the other on the other. It's currently 70% off on Steam ($4.49). I easily recommend it at this price, even though I'm not terribly far into it.

Sounds like a good deal for $5.
Most of my gaming time has been spent playing battlfield 4 on XBONE. The game can be glitchy at times but they have patched most of the major bugs that result in crashing or difficulty finding a game. I've never played battlefield before and have always turned to call of duty for my FPS fix. I find the large maps, game mode variety, vehicles, etc to be much better on BF. Adios COD.

I haven't played a Battlefield game in a while, but I have enjoyed the little bit I played back in the day. I should give the more recent offerings some time.
It's good to hear you're getting use out of the Xbox One.
Have you developed a preference for Xbox One or PS4 as a Blu-ray player, or do you have a standalone player for that?

To be honest I haven't watched enough movies to decide . Been busy due to promotion at work, new baby, etc. so far I'd say my preference is xbox one, mostly because I can give it voice commands to play a disc , switch back to tv when done, pause. etc. I have probably spent 90% of my gaming and movie time on xbox one and 10% on ps4. This is largely due to the fact that I have spent more time with the 2 xbone games i have than the 1 ps4 game I have. Perhaps that will Change when I get a few good ps4 exclusives down the line, or if the ps4 adopts 3d support before xbox.
I still think the PS3 may be the best bluray player and media center out there for the money but maybe that will change too when updates come for the new systems.
I forgot to add I have also been playing super mario 3d world on wii u with my wife. That one is really fun too and has smooth crisp graphics. It's hard to go wrong with nintendo first party offerings. Great fun and challenge so far with 2 player coop

Oh, yeah, I still need a Wii U, too. I never got a Wii, so I've really been missing the Nintendo first party games. And congratulations on both the promotion and the baby if I neglected to say it here or on Facebook. The pictures you're posting are very heartwarming.

I can't tell any difference in the sound and video quality for the Xbox One and PS4. I haven't checked the load times but they are fast. I don't think there is any difference there either.
That said if I had to make a choice it would be the Xbox One as well. The PS4 controller emits a bright blue light during playback which I find distracting. You can't turn off the light either.
I have found the Xbox One voice commands work extremely well once you get used to all the specific commands and the order you have to say to it. I use them quite a bit.
I’m armed and I’m drinking. You don’t want to listen to advice from me, amigo.
