Skyfall. I'm still a little ambivalent. The picture and sound are phenomenal, at least, but the story doesn't do a whole lot for me. It has its moments, but overall, it feels like it drags, and I'm not sure why it got such good reviews. While I think the reboot has made James Bond relevant again, I don't think any of the new ones have really hit it out of the park yet.

I was really impressed with Skyfall's sound and picture!

This is reference disc material for sure!

CV:

My wife & I agree wholeheartedly. Skyfall was probably 20 minutes too long & depressingly dark - similar to the way that Harry Potters had become.

What bothers me about the latest 3 Bonds is the absolute lack of humour that was such a fundamental & integral part of all previous episodes.

For us, it certainly was not the best Bond ever as is being endlessly hyped...

I can certainly agree on this point. Very impressive.

Really? I watched Skyfall tonight, one of my biggest problems is how messed up the colors were. The whole thing was processed to be blue and orange. It's a trend that started with movie posters, but now it seems to have infected the movies themselves.

Roy Orbison on Hi-Fi.
I really like these speakers.

Glad for the PVR too.

This isn't a negative Orange promo lead-in is it?

"In a world where there are only two colors: blue and orange. Locked in an eternal struggle that threatens to wipe both from the landscape. One resistance group, Negative Orange, may have the key to unlock a lasting peace." Coming this spring to a record store near you, the yet untitled concept album from Negative Orange.
