Ok. I see heated front seats and 278 hp. No heated steering wheel. Seems all online info not the same. I'll relook for the info I found yesterday.

It was on the compare vehicles page on Honda. I must have been tired when I did it yesterday. I see the correct info now.

Looks like the Honda Crosstour and the Acura RDX have the same motor. The Honda is 4 wheel drive while the Acura is AWD. Is one any better than the other?

Not really, they are both Honda products, Acura calls it AWD because it sounds more sophisticated, Honda calls it realtime 4WD. Pretty much same vehicles with the same drivetrain just a different shell surrounding it.

A heated steering wheel is really a make or break feature for you? You can get some nice insulated, non-bulky gloves for driving. You can even pre warm them with a blast from a hair dryer before you get into your car. smile

Not exactly make/break, but want pretty bad. Enough cars have this feature today so shouldn't have to settle for without, unless there's a super good reason to get the vehicle without.

Went to the auto show in Kansas City today. One car I liked was Subaru outback. So afterward, I stopped at a Subaru dealer and test drove 2 of them. A 4 banger and a 6 banger. 4 banger didn't have enough oomph, and the 6 was about right. The premium sound system was lacking in bass and overall clarity. It has a small subwoofer built in.

A smaller model had speaker upgrades with a larger subwoofer installed, due to an upgrade done by the customer that hadn't picked up the car yet, so I listened to it. Better clarity, but a one note bass system with no volume control. You gotta be kidding me. Horrible overall sound. The best sound I can hope for is to retain the small subwoofer with a tweeter upgrade.

Cost of vehicle with upgraded packages is $38,500. Gas mileage 25 highway. So-so sound.

A lot of cars at the auto show were decent, then you go to listen to the audio and oops, deal breaker. Can't upgrade audio system like you can in the past. Have to settle for what comes with the car. Bummer.

Probably the best audio I heard from the cars i listened to was the Toyota Pilot.

You can upgrade the audio systems but it now costs a lot more, you have to be willing to make or pay for some custom pieces etc.

Oops. That's a Honda Pilot.
