I finally called Brent on the 18th, and my EP350 Grille shipped the next day. He said they had been available for a while, so I guess they were a low priority in the shipping department.

The "burnt sienna" grill is a much lighter shade than what the picture shows. I would have preferred a darker shade of this color with the dark Vermont Maple EP500.

Not bad looking, but darker would have been better.

I wonder how much just a replacement grille costs; just in case you wanted to change the color.

One of my cats brought a live, large mouse (or small rat) into the house yesterday. I rescued it from its tormentor but the ungrateful little bugger bit me on the hand before I was able to set it free across the street on the seashore.

Then, out came liberal quantities of 99% Isopropyl Alcohol & so far I haven't come down with the Bubonic Plague or whatever, ha!...

My cats insist bringing in live rodents AND birds all the time and then letting them loose. They get distracted easily. I have rescued numerous birds. I have less sympathy for the mice or rats. Fortunately, I have one "diligent" cat (not the ones that bring them in) who will find them.

I just rescued another snake from him - intercepted before he brought it inside.

Thankfully there are no venomous ones here....

I'm glad mine is a house cat.

Or unfortunately there aren't.... I wish there were here. I get the neighbours cat on my property daily. Luckily for it I can't use a slingshot or pellet gun. ALL pet owners (with neighbours or high traffic roads nearby) should be responsible and tie their cats/dogs up if they're outside. More often than not, cat owners are lazy and incompetent.

The only reasonable argument for owning a gun is to protect yourself from the police.

You really can't tie a cat up and put it outside. I just finished reading about this a bit on the internet. Everyone says it's not a good idea. Too many things can go wrong.
