I've swapped my M80's a few times and always wonder if it really matters what speaker sits where.
I found a overhead view line drawing for LFR's but haven't found one for the M80's.
I'm not sure it would make a big difference now but I'd still like to know.

There's no difference in the M80s.

An M80 is an M80, there is no left or right.

However... it is important to wire the right speaker to the right amp output, otherwise the train goes from right to left on the screen while the sound goes left to right. Please don't ask how I know whistle

What would happen if you swapped just one of the + or - sides for the fronts on the back of the receiver? Say swap the left/right - wire, and left the + side normal...

Ken, I did say please...

Randy, if you only switch the + / - on one of the speakers, then turn the volume up reeeeeeally loud, the room will spin.

Just re-read closer what you wrote... you should. get no sound from either speaker - there's nothing to complete the circuit.

Is this a test? I'm still on my first grey goosehound. I'll need another if the questions keep coming. On second thought - keep 'em coming!
